History
Tanner Trails Community Church (formerly named "Butterfield
Community Church") was started as a Free Will Baptist Mission
at the Aurora YMCA in
September,
1961.
Early
meeting
places
included East Central High School and Odd
Fellow's Hall. On November 11, 1962 we became Free Will Baptist
Church.
In September, 1968 we moved into our own church building and in the 1980's we changed
our name to Butterfield Community Church.
In September, 2004 we moved to the North Aurora Activity Center.
We have more detailed history information available.
We began construction on a new facility in the Tanner Trails
subdivision in North Aurora and have changed the name to Tanner
Trails Community Church.
On August 20, 2006, David Womack was called as our new pastor.
On September 3, 2006, we moved into our new facility on Tanner
Road.

Denomination
TTCC is part of the Free
Will Baptist denomination and is affiliated with the National
Association of Evangelicals.
