IT’S HALF GONE - 2009, that is. Have you worked on making time for God a habit this first half of 2009? It’s never too late to begin. Bible reading guides are available in today’s bulletin. Even if you haven’t started a daily reading plan, you can begin today and use the second half of 2009 to get better acquainted with the God of the universe!

If you haven’t been spending time with the Lord consistently, start today by using the Bible reading guide available on the Information Counter. It doesn’t matter if you start somewhere in the middle - just start somewhere! You will be glad you did.

BIBLE READING TIPS:

Here are some ideas that may help us get into the good habit of regularly reading our Bibles - God’s Word!

  • Think through your day and set aside a few minutes the same time each day to open up your Bible.
  • Find a place that can become your “holy ground” for meeting with God.
  • Use a contemporary translation or paraphrase to better understand what you are reading.

Any good habit takes time and effort. Is spending time with God worth the effort to you?

What's New?

Ladies Friendship Connection: LFC will meet on the following dates (2nd Wednesdays of each month) only during the summer months and will resume their regular schedule in September. Dates are as follows: June 10th, July 8th, and August 12th. These dates will have a lesson at the church from 10-11:30 am. Then, on September 9th we will meet for breakfast at Mother’s Restaurant on Randall Road at 10:00 am. Our new study will begin on Wednesday, September 16th which will begin our regular schedule.

Prayer Requests: Don’t forget we will post your prayer requests in the bulletin if you would like by filling out the tear off tab from your bulletin (don’t forget to check the appropriate box) and dropping it into the Request Box at the Information Counter.

Friendship, emotional healing, getting right with God, and Bible study are some of the reasons people look for a church. If you are looking for a church to call home, consider TTCC.

We aim to be a friendly, encouraging church that follows God. We just may be the answer to your prayers.
